My Fantasy Team This Week
Paste your roster once. Every week the board sets your best lineup from projections that show their math, then puts a green, amber or red light on each starter with the one-line reason: injuries, byes, wind, a coin flip with your bench. On Tuesdays it lists waiver pickups who would start for you; on Sundays, what changed since you last looked.

How the board works
Your roster. Paste names one per line, or copy your whole roster page from ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper or NFL.com and paste it as it comes. Slot labels, team and position columns, injury tags, opponents and kickoff times are read as hints or skipped. Each name is matched exactly, then as an initial and last name (“J. Chase”), then by a last name only one player has, then by a spelling one or two letters off. Anything less certain is listed with a short pick list rather than guessed. Defenses match on the team (“Ravens D/ST”, “BAL DEF”, “Baltimore Ravens”).
The projections. Quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends use the same weekly projections as Who should I start? and the weekly rankings, scored in your league’s format. Kickers come from the kicker board’s projection and defenses from the DST streaming model, both in standard scoring.
The lineup. Your starters are the best lineup your roster can field in your league’s shape (set it under “Your league”: quarterbacks, backs, receivers, tight ends, flex and superflex seats), found with the same exact solver as the team score calculator. A kicker and defense seat is added when your roster has one. A player who can’t play only fills a seat nobody else can, and the light says so. Tap “Start him” on a bench player to pin him into the lineup.
The start line. A starter in a dedicated seat is held to this week’s projection for the last starter at his position in a league your size (with twelve teams and one quarterback, the QB12; with two running backs, the RB24). A starter in a flex seat is held to the flex line: the best player at his position the league’s lineups leave out once every flex seat fills, the same replacement fill the rest-of-season rankings use.
| Light | When (first match wins) |
|---|---|
| Red | Nobody on the roster can fill the seat. |
| Red | Ruled Out on this week’s injury report, or on injured reserve or another reserve list, released or suspended (nflverse weekly rosters). |
| Red | His team is on bye. |
| Red | Doubtful on this week’s injury report (his projection is cut by 30%). |
| Red | A bench player who can fill the seat projects 3+ points more. Only possible when you pin the starter. |
| Amber | Not enough 2026 data to project him. |
| Amber | Questionable on this week’s injury report (his projection is cut by 15%). |
| Amber | Status unknown: he missed his team’s last game and no report has settled it yet, or he is on a practice squad. He keeps his “if he plays” projection. |
| Amber | A bench player who can fill the seat projects 1 to 3 points more (pinned starters). |
| Amber | The best bench option for the seat is under 1 point away: in 2024–25 gaps that small went the higher player’s way 52% of the time. |
| Amber | A QB, WR, TE or kicker in a game forecast at 15 mph or more at kickoff. |
| Amber | He projects under this week’s start line for the seat. |
| Green | At or above this week’s start line for the seat, with none of the above. |
A starter whose game has kicked off gets no light: it is too late to change. Every light comes with its reason, and a flag that isn’t the main reason shows as a chip under it.
The numbers next to a light. When a starter’s best bench option is close, the board says how often gaps that size went the higher player’s way when we tested the projections on 2024–25 games: under 1 point is a coin flip (52%), and a gap of 3 points or more went the higher projection’s way about 68% of the time. Those are the bands on Who should I start?, measured on Half-PPR gaps.
Tuesday: waivers. Monday to Wednesday the board opens on your weak slots (red, or amber for anything but a coin flip or wind) and the waiver risers who project at least a point more there, each with his rest-of-season FAAB tier and a “Price this claim” link into the FAAB bid calculator. For a starter who may not play, an upgrade is measured against the bench player who would replace him.
Sunday: game day. Thursday to Sunday it opens on game day: who can’t play or might not, the windy games, the games already kicked off and what changed since the last update you saw (designations, lineup moves, wind, projections that moved a point or more). You can switch modes any day.
What the board can’t see
Your league. The board doesn’t connect to ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper or NFL.com, so it can’t see who you actually started, your league’s waiver wire or its kicker and defense scoring. The upgrades come from players most leagues left available, so check yours.
Late scratches. There is no game-day inactives feed. Designations apply once that week’s official report is out (the Week 4 report is applied now), and injured reserve and practice-squad moves once nflverse’s weekly rosters list them. Check the injury report before kickoff.
Role changes. Projections lag a role that just changed. A backup promoted this week has little share history, so he projects low; a starter back from injured reserve is projected on his old games; a traded player carries his old team’s share until he builds a new one.
Who gets a projection. Players need a real 2026 role: at least 15 pass attempts a game for a QB, 6 carries and targets for a running back, 3 targets for a receiver and 2 for a tight end. Anyone below that shows as “no projection”. Yardage and long-touchdown bonuses and return touchdowns aren’t projected, and kickers and defenses use standard scoring whatever your league’s settings.
Weak spots. Quarterback calls early in the season and kicker projections are the least reliable parts of the model; the accuracy tracker grades every week in public.

Your roster stays in your browser
There is no account and no login. Your roster is saved in this browser’s local storage, with a snapshot of the board so the next visit can say what changed. Nothing is sent to us: the board downloads this week’s projections and does the rest on your device.
“Copy link to this roster” puts the player list in the link itself, so anyone you send it to sees the same roster. Opening someone else’s link never replaces your saved roster unless you choose to. “Clear my roster” removes it from this browser.
