Kickers and defenses score on their calculators’ Standard tables. For yardage bonuses, points per first down or a different kicker or DST format, score the player in the fantasy points calculator and type the result here.
How the team score works
Your team score is the sum of your starters’ fantasy points — the bench never counts. Search a player in any slot and the calculator loads his 2026 game for the week you pick (Week 3 is the latest with final stats), then scores it in Standard, Half-PPR or PPR. A player on bye, or one who did not play, scores 0 for that week. If your league’s scoring is unusual, skip the search and type each player’s points straight from your league app; the total and the bench math work the same way.
Offense uses the same rules as our fantasy points calculator: 0.04 per passing yard, 4 per passing TD (6 in the custom settings), −2 per interception (or −1), 0.1 per rushing or receiving yard, 6 per TD, 2 per two-point conversion, −2 per fumble lost, and 0, 0.5 or 1 per catch. Kickers score 3 for a field goal under 40 yards, 4 from 40–49, 5 from 50+, 1 per extra point and −1 per missed one. Defenses score on the standard points-allowed bracket plus sacks, takeaways and touchdowns.
Points left on the bench
Add your bench players and the calculator also works out the best lineup your roster could have started that week. Points left on bench is the difference: best possible lineup minus the lineup you actually played. Zero means you started the right players.
FLEX takes a running back, wide receiver or tight end; superflex also takes a quarterback. The best lineup respects those rules, and it can shuffle players between slots: a benched running back can take an RB slot while the RB who was there moves to FLEX. It fills every slot it can, and checks every legal arrangement rather than guessing. Pick Superflex, 3 WR or 2 FLEX from the lineup menu, or set your own slot counts under Custom lineup & scoring.
Worked example
A standard lineup (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX, K, DST) in Half-PPR, with two players on the bench. These are example stat lines, not real games:
| Slot | Stat line | Points |
|---|---|---|
| QB | 250 pass yds, 2 pass TD, 1 INT, 20 rush yds | 18.00 |
| RB | 80 rush yds, 1 rush TD, 3 rec, 20 rec yds | 17.50 |
| RB | 45 rush yds, 2 rec, 10 rec yds | 6.50 |
| WR | 7 rec, 95 yds, 1 TD | 19.00 |
| WR | 4 rec, 48 yds | 6.80 |
| TE | 5 rec, 52 yds | 7.70 |
| FLEX (WR) | 3 rec, 31 yds | 4.60 |
| K | 2 FG under 40, 1 FG from 40–49, 3 XP | 13.00 |
| DST | 17 points allowed, 3 sacks, 1 INT | 6.00 |
| Team score | 99.10 | |
| BN (RB) | 60 rush yds, 1 rush TD, 2 rec, 15 rec yds | 14.50 |
| BN (WR) | 2 rec, 12 yds | 2.20 |
The bench running back scored 14.50 while the FLEX receiver scored 4.60. In the best lineup the bench RB takes the second RB slot, the 6.50-point RB moves to FLEX, and the 4.60-point receiver sits: 99.10 − 4.60 + 14.50 = 109.00. That is 9.90 points left on the bench. The other bench receiver doesn’t beat anyone, so he stays put.
