Week 4 fantasy kicker rankings — every kicker, sorted by implied total
Which kicker to pick up this week, with the inputs on the table instead of a black-box score. Every kicker on the slate, sorted by how many points Vegas expects his offense to score, next to the roof, the kickoff wind, his 2026 volume and how many field goals his opponent lets kickers try.
Week 4 (updated Wed Sep 30): the kickers on the highest implied team totals are Tyler Loop (BAL 27.5), Tyler Bass (BUF 27.5) and Jake Bates (DET 27.25). No kicker has a wind flag in the kickoff forecast, and 8 kickers play under a dome or retractable roof.
Every Week 4 kicker, sorted by implied team total
Highest implied total first — the offenses Vegas expects to score most, and so to kick most. The top of the board is Tyler Loop (BAL 27.5), Tyler Bass (BUF 27.5) and Jake Bates (DET 27.25). No game on the board carries a wind flag in the kickoff forecast. 8 kickers play under a dome or retractable roof.
Lines as of — consensus of 9 sportsbooks. Kicking stats are 2026 through Week 3. Forecast pulled from the National Weather Service and, for games outside the US, MET Norway — 12 of 31 games are inside the 7-day window, which reaches Wed, Oct 7, 5:00 AM ET in the US.

How to read a row. “Implied” is the points Vegas expects the kicker's own team to score. “FGA/g” and “XP/g” are his 2026 field-goal attempts and extra points made per game, “40+ made” counts his field goals from 40 yards or more, and “Pts/g” is what he has scored per game in standard scoring. “Opp. FGA/g” is how many field goals kickers have attempted per game against this week's opponent — a defense that stalls drives inside its own 35 shows up there.
Wind is flagged, not scored. “Wind” means a sustained kickoff forecast of 15 mph or more; “Gusts” means gusts of 25 mph or more under a calmer sustained wind. The forecast comes from the NFL weather report; “Dome” and “Roof” (retractable) games take weather out of it.
How the board is built
A kicker scores two ways: field goals, which come from drives that stall in range, and extra points, which come from touchdowns. Both scale with how much his offense moves the ball, so the board is sorted by the one public forecast of exactly that — the implied team total, the points the betting market expects a team to score. It is the same number the implied team totals board ranks, from the same consensus line.
There is no blended score, on purpose. Kicking is the noisiest slot in fantasy, and one number would hide which input is doing the work. So the sort is the implied total alone, and everything else sits beside it for you to weigh: a high total indoors beats the same total into a 15 mph wind, and a kicker already averaging more attempts than the league, facing a defense that allows plenty of them, is the easiest call on the board.
The kicking columns are 2026 per-game numbers from every game before the week on the board, so a Sunday-night refresh never mixes in the results of the games being previewed. Across the league that is 2.0 field-goal attempts, 2.3 extra points made and 8.5 standard points per kicker-game — the yardstick for every row. Points are the kicker calculator's standard scoring: 3 for a field goal from 0–39 yards, 4 from 40–49, 5 from 50+, 1 per extra point and −1 per missed one.
“Opp. FGA/g” pools every kicker who has faced the opponent. It counts the field goals attempted against that defense divided by the games it has played, so a game where the other kicker never tried one counts as a zero rather than disappearing.
The wind flag is the site's one weather signal. A sustained kickoff forecast of 15 mph or more is where field goals and deep passing measurably degrade, so it flags “Wind”. Gusts matter to a kicker even when the sustained number looks tame, so gusts of 25 mph or more under a calmer wind flag “Gusts”. Domes and retractable roofs take weather out of it.
Worked example, straight off the board
BAL host TEN with a game total of 43.5 and a line of −11.5, so (43.5 + 11.5) ÷ 2 = 27.5 — the top implied total on the Week 4 board.
Tyler Loop has made 5 of 6 field goals and 11 extra points in 3 games. Standard scoring: 1 × 3 (0–39) + 2 × 4 (40–49) + 2 × 5 (50+) + 11 × 1 (XP) = 32 points, and 32 ÷ 3 = 10.7 a game. His 6 attempts over 3 games are the 2.0 FGA/g on his row.
What this board can't tell you
Kicker weeks are mostly noise. One stalled drive or one extra touchdown moves a kicker more than the gap between the top and the middle of this board. The sort tells you where the volume should be, not what happens.
A few games is a small sample. Early in the season the per-game columns rest on two or three games each, and the opponent column on as many. Read them as a tiebreaker between close totals, not as a rating.
Lines, forecasts and depth charts move. This page moves with them only at the next data refresh; the stamps above the table say when each was pulled. For a line that has moved since, run it through the implied team total calculator, and check the NFL weather report closer to kickoff. A kicker signed off the street after the snapshot will not be on his team's row until he has kicked.
Standard scoring only. Distance-weighted and big-leg formats pay more for long kicks and dock misses; score any line in your format with the kicker fantasy points calculator, which can load any of these kickers' 2026 games in one tap.
