PrizePicks & Underdog fantasy score calculator
How PrizePicks calculates fantasy score
A PrizePicks NFL Fantasy Score adds up a player’s whole stat line with one fixed table. PrizePicks describes it as full point-per-reception (PPR) scoring: 0.04 per passing yard (1 per 25), 4 per passing touchdown, 0.1 per rushing or receiving yard (1 per 10), 6 per rushing or receiving touchdown and 1 per catch. Two-point conversions are worth 2, and kick, punt and field-goal return touchdowns and offensive fumble-recovery touchdowns are worth 6 each.
The difference from a season-long PPR league is the turnovers. PrizePicks charges −1 for an interception and −1 for a lost fumble. The default PPR table on our fantasy points calculator charges −2 for each, so a turnover-prone quarterback scores a little higher on PrizePicks than the same line does in that league. Everything else in the two tables is identical.
PrizePicks also says offensive players are scored on offensive stats only, and must record at least one offensive snap or a return touchdown to be scored at all.
PrizePicks vs Underdog vs season-long PPR
The same line under each table, as published. The season-long column is our flagship calculator’s default PPR, for comparison.
| Stat | PrizePicks | Underdog Best Ball | Season-long PPR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Passing yard | 0.04 | 0.04 | 0.04 |
| Passing TD | 4 | 4 | 4 |
| Interception | −1 | −1 | −2 |
| Rushing yard | 0.1 | 0.1 | 0.1 |
| Rushing TD | 6 | 6 | 6 |
| Reception | 1 | 0.5 | 1 |
| Receiving yard | 0.1 | 0.1 | 0.1 |
| Receiving TD | 6 | 6 | 6 |
| Fumble lost | −1 | −2 | −2 |
| 2-point conversion | 2 | 2 | 2 |
| Return TD | 6 | 6 | 6 |
How Underdog’s scoring is different
Underdog’s NFL rules page publishes a Best Ball scoring table, and Underdog says its draft contests default to half-PPR: a catch is worth 0.5. Interceptions cost −1, the same as PrizePicks, but a lost fumble costs −2. Against a season-long half-PPR league with our default −2 interception, the only change is the interception. Underdog also scores a “Misc TD” at 6 for quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends; the calculator counts return touchdowns there.
What Underdog does not publish: a fantasy-points table for Pick’em. Its Pick’em NFL rules list how dozens of stat markets are graded, but not how a Pick’em fantasy-points projection is scored, so this calculator does not claim to reproduce one. The same rules do say special-teams stats don’t count toward any Pick’em pick unless it is a special-teams projection — so leave Return TDs at 0 if you are checking an Underdog Pick’em number, and confirm the scoring shown on the projection itself. Underdog’s rules page also lists a separate full-PPR table for its daily contests; the Best Ball table is the one its drafts default to, which is why it is the one here.
Worked example
A receiver catches 7 passes for 94 yards and 1 touchdown, and loses 1 fumble. The line on the pick is 20.5.
- PrizePicks: 7 × 1 + 9.4 + 6 − 1 = 21.40, which is 0.90 over 20.5.
- Underdog Best Ball: 7 × 0.5 + 9.4 + 6 − 2 = 16.90, which is 3.60 under 20.5.
- Season-long PPR (our default): 7 × 1 + 9.4 + 6 − 2 = 20.40, which is 0.10 under 20.5.
Same game, same line, and the answer depends on whose table scores it: a full point per catch and a one-point fumble put the PrizePicks number over, while half a point per catch and a two-point fumble put Underdog’s under. Try an example in the calculator loads exactly this line.
PrizePicks kicker scoring
PrizePicks publishes a separate table for kickers, who are scored on kicking stats only. It is not the same thing as a “Kicking Points” line, which counts the real points a kicker puts on the scoreboard.
| Kick | PrizePicks points |
|---|---|
| Field goal, 0–39 yds | 3 |
| Field goal, 40–49 yds | 4 |
| Field goal, 50+ yds | 5 |
| Extra point made | 1 |
| Missed field goal | −1 |
| Missed extra point | −1 |
The kicker fantasy points calculator on its Standard setting uses the same distance brackets and extra-point values. The one difference is a missed field goal: 0 there, −1 on PrizePicks.
Using the calculator
- Pick PrizePicks or UD Best Ball. The rail shows both scores either way, plus the season-long PPR number.
- Search a player to load his latest 2026 game (or his 2025 season if he has not played in 2026). The picker on his name switches to any other 2026 game, his 2026 season so far, or his 2025 season — or type a line by hand.
- Enter the line from your pick. The rail says over, under or push, and by how much. A season or multi-game line is compared as a per-game average, because pick lines are per game.
That is all it does: arithmetic on a stat line and a number you typed. It is not a projection and it is not a pick.
Rules, sources and the fine print
PrizePicks rules as published in PrizePicks’ own NFL fantasy scoring article; Underdog rules as published on Underdog’s NFL rules page — both checked Sep 2026. Platforms can change their scoring at any time; the table shown in the app is the one that counts. Player stat lines are 2025 and 2026 regular-season data from nflverse (CC-BY-4.0).
