How to read it

Starters, backups and the marks

Each row is one spot in the formation, starter first and the backups in order behind him. The offense lists three wide receiver spots (WR1–WR3), so the first name in each is a starting receiver. The fantasy positions — quarterback, running back, receiver, tight end and kicker — are in purple, and a player with a page on this site links to it.

New starter, New, ▲ Up and ▼ Down compare this chart with the one from about a week earlier () , position by position: a receiver moved from one WR spot to another is not new.

Out, Doubtful and Questionable come from the team's official injury report for the week, and IR, PUP and the other reserve lists from nflverse's weekly rosters — the same availability every weekly board on the site uses. They cover the fantasy positions; a team's depth chart is often slower to change than its injury report.

A depth chart is the team's own ordering, not a snap count: a listed starter can still split the work. For who actually gets the ball, see the target share leaders and the handcuff rankings; for this week's statuses, the NFL injury report.
