Why TE Premium exists

TE is a thin position. In most years there are only 4–6 tight ends putting up usable weekly numbers; everyone else is a streamer. TE Premium leagues bump the reception multiplier for TEs only (commonly 1.5 PPR or 2.0 PPR), which both inflates the elite TE values and softens the cliff at the position.

How the math works

The formula is plain PPR receiving scoring with one dial turned up: 0.1 points per receiving yard, 6 per receiving TD, −2 per fumble lost — and each reception pays the TE multiplier instead of 1.0. So the premium itself is exactly (multiplier − 1) × receptions, which the result panel itemizes for you as “TE bonus.”

How much does it change values?

At 1.5 PPR for TE, a player with 80 receptions in a season picks up 40 extra fantasy points vs. standard PPR. That's usually enough to push the top TE into late first-round / early second-round draft territory.
